The broader (societal) benefits of the Idean Cluster are the development of a mechanism for collaboration between academia and the private sector focusing on the modernisation of education in the era of the 4th industrial revolution. More specifically:

(a) Personalised education is made possible,

(b) No geographical restrictions, 

(c) With greater linguistic potential, 

(d) Combining the expertise of a wide range of neuroscientists worldwide, and 

(e) Having the computational capability to rapidly translate the latest research developments in Neuroscience into new or updated subject areas of education. 

The success of the project is a guide for the development of similar partnerships in many other academic fields (biomedical sciences or other disciplines).
